She originally came to the clinic because of her heart rate.
The wider evaluation helped identify an underlying thyroid condition.

The symptom that brings a patient to the clinic does not always reveal where the real problem begins.
Another anonymised case involved a young pregnant woman who presented with persistent tachycardia.
